On Sunday the 27th of May we will meet at our regular meeting place, The Aberdeen Community Hall at 11am and departing at 11:15am sharp.
You must arrange your own transport/drive your own vehicle.
The camping group is located in Towarri National Park, on Middlebrook Creek. 25km north-west of Scone via Middlebrook Road. (Approx. 30 mins from the meeting point.)
The route include unsealed roads. Not advisable to bring your fancy car. The route creek crossing. (Usually 1-4 inches of water coverage. I drove my Ford Falcon sedan here with no trouble last year.)
Forriage for sticks for wand making, rocks, leaves, feathers and what ever you may discover. Great opportunity to take some amazing nature photographs.
Wear fully enclosed shoes, bring a hat, sunglasses and sunscreen. Bring your own drinking water.
There are pit toilets and gas barbecues.
Your welcome to use the barbecues- bring your own foods and cooking utensils.
It may be a bit cold for swimming, but your welcome to take a dip if your wish. The natural water source is rejuvenating.
